It was nothing serious, just the usual loud quarreling from the couple that lives opposite my block at 4 in the morning because they have very little consideration for others. They usually have a go at it a couple of times a year, so it becomes a waiting game amongst the awaken to see whose turn it is to call the police now.
After 30 minutes of screaming and 5 death threats later, I called.
Me: I would like to report a case of domestic...disturbance? Ya disturbance. They have been going at it for 30 minutes already.
Police: Okay I will send my officers over soon. Can I have your name please?
Me: Mei Shan.
Police: And your number?
Me: You don't have caller ID?
Police: Erm yes we have caller ID. I just need to confirm.

Mum: Did you just ask the police if they have caller ID?
I was very tired. Also, school's starting soon! Exciting...ly...mixed. Hmmm.
