I was reading Bill Kaulitz's Wikipedia page and staring at his birthday while wondering to myself "Hmm I wonder when Tom's birthday is..."

They are twins.
Anyway! IR lesson tomorrow and I am determined to strike up a conversation with the people sitting beside me. I have eavesdropped on enough conversations to figure out that they are pretty cool dudes. Also, I have things in my lecture notes that need to be filled in because of my tendency for tardiness when it comes to afternoon classes.
I tried(ish) doing that last week but my attempt ended as soon as he made eye contact. My body was turned towards him, I had my notes in hand positioned awkwardly in mid-air, and I chickened out the very moment he looked at me. What I decided to do after was stand up abruptly, throw my notes on the table, and gun for the door as though I have a bursting bladder...obviously.
Life choices I make on a daily basis: Fake a bursting bladder > Starting a conversation. Oh yeah, I am really socially capable.
Wishing myself luck!
