Sometimes, a short meet up with the girls can bring back so much...nostalgic feelings of times when we were back in secondary school.
Met up at 201 for our zi char dinner. As usual, ah lee wore her standard attire for meet ups that are near the vicinity of Chai Chee. She's really the embodiment of 一套衣服走天下, lol. Co-incidentally, everyone wore white! Except for weiwei though cause she forsake meeting us on time for TV, so we outcast her. Haha.
Went to jalan jalan at the pasar malam before making our way to the Kampong Chai Chee for karaoke.
Funny (ummm..slightly freaky) incident happened there.
Weiwei was sitting at the end of the L-shaped sofa, with her back on the wall. Throughout the first...1.5hrs of our session, she kept feeling knocks(?) thuds(?) coming from the room beside ours. She assumed it was the people in the other room banging against the wall, so she returned the favour by constantly throwing her back on the wall periodically. Hahaha. The sight was quite amusing actually. Like halfway through a song she would feel the need to irritate them back and then just throw herself against the wall out of no where. Damn funny.
But, the banging didn't stop. So in order to escalate our "revenge", we decided to up the volume of super loud songs. The first being "DJ Got Us Falling In Love". And then 王妃. 恋爱ing. Can you imagine?? Srsly the volume was so fucking loud I think I was semi deaf when it ended. I wonder how people who frequent clubs can still have normal hearing.
But still, the banging didn't stop.
Pei decided to go to the bathroom in between our "revenge", and when she came back, she said something that freaked the fuck out of all of us.
Pei: Eh, 隔壁没有房间 leh.
WTF. Weiwei screamed and immediately abandoned her seat and flew to the other end of the sofa, and then someone else screamed, ger screamed, I screamed, everyone screamed. LOL it was such an epic moment I swear.
We continued singing though, despite the scare cause we were all brAvE_giRLz92. And that we still had another hour left on the session. Haha.
We had a very...diversified playlist though. Korean, English, Mandarin, Cantonese and...Hokkien. Lol we sang 爱 and 家后 (gey ao). I think the people who might have overheard our choice of songs would be very confused.
We all cabbed home and twas the end of a very comfortable and nostalgia-coated meet up. Reminds me of why we are such close friends after so long. We are all so comfortable in our own skins when we are with each other, so honest, so...at ease. Glad to have them, srsly :)
And now it's time for me to procrastinate doing my econs homework. Haizzzzzz.
Oh and I haven't been meeting the boys for so long cause of tuition+school+more tuition so...this coming friday, movie date? :)
