Is it weird that the only time I am considering having a twitter account is so that I can follow Stefan Struve? My favourite heavyweight at the moment.
Also, I just read the article with the most sarcastic heading ever.
"Junior dos Santos talks using 'wrong strategy' against Cain Velasquez, and wants his rematch 'soon'."
Hahaha I think the air quotes were used for sarcasm purposes besided quotation. Anyone who watched the match would concur.
Firstly, there is no 'wrong strategy' per say, unless you count being over confident as one. Secondly, pshhhhh. Cain probably secured his heavyweight champ belt for the year given his performance. So, no. No rematches anytime 'soon'. The outcome was pretty much a done deal when JDS took the right hook to his chin at the end of round 1 la.
After that I pretty much went about doing my own things whilst loosely concentrating on the match.
It's a slow and painful loss man, slowww and painfullll.
I am almost certain that G is shaking her head in disapproval about my...interest in the sport if she reads this. When she saw the UFC app in my phone she went "Walau UFC again?!". Lol.
I need to make new friends. Preferably ones that enjoy watching UFC and could rationalize staying up till 2am to catch a live match.
Anyone?
