MAY

Theme for May's pictures will be me because May sounds like Mei and it's part of my name so yes. Like you need a month that rhymes with your name to take selfies. You don't.

But I guess that's what isolation does to you when you lock yourself in a study cave. The above is a little summary of what I do during short breaks when I get inundated with revision. Try on winter hats. Attempt to wink (can you actually wink properly without opening your mouth?). Listen to The Joe Rogan Experience. Make funny faces. Take advantage of ample sunlight.

Also, notice how my hair is in a dire need of a hair cut. I continually refuse to get one until exams are over because of a superstition someone told me a long time ago. Something about snipping away locks of content that you studied. Now I don't particularly follow superstitions, but the fear of blanking out during examinations shoved me right into obedience.

Also, I was a little lazy la. Lol.

Despite the lock down from social interaction, I did managed to get out for a little while last weekend though, albeit to visit the dentist. Still, it's good to go outside for a little breather. And nothing clears your mind faster than hearing the dentist go "Oh! This is quite straightforward. Both your wisdom teeth require surgery. Quite fast one, should be under an hour. We will do it over 2 appointments."

Apparently my wisdom teeth are growing horizontally instead of vertically, creating a cavity that has a penchant for trapping inconspicuous pieces of food there that cannot be removed by brushing. Which is why the dentist threatened me with decaying teeth when I asked if there was any way I could avoid getting any surgery done.

Sigh, so I guess that's more or less set in stone.

On a more important note, I have just completed my second last paper for finals and I am very, very ecstatic. I was teetering along the borders of a full blown freak out before I went in the exam hall because there is just so. freaking. much. to remember for social psychology. Thankfully, I managed to keep it all packed in for the duration of the paper. Plus it went pretty well too, so that's always awesome.

And what's a better way to celebrate awesomeness than enjoying a good drama series into the wee hours of the morning?

The dialogues, the actors and the plot are just impeccable. The dialogues especially, are so full of wit and intelligence. The style is comparable to Sherlock, but with an extra flair of regality, if that makes any sense.

"An urgent matter has arisen."
"Urgent enough to sully this chamber with her presence? I know where to find whores if I want them."

Now, imagine using that as a response to a request of inviting an unwanted guest. Hahaha, brilliance!

Truth be told, this post was written because of procrastination. I currently have about 18 tabs opened regarding the sightseeing locations, addresses, and direction details about Jeju island, and I have no idea where to start to condense them into a concise itinerary.

Okay, time to stop dicking around. I shall stop this procrastination and attempt to finish it by tonight. Or through the night. But it's past 12 midnight so should it be morning?

xx
