Sometimes, people tell me that certain things i say can be a bit..blunt to say the least.
Yeah, I'll admit to that. But it makes me wonder somehow, why do people be offended by that? I did not make up despicable half-truths and force them condescendingly down your throat now, did I? What I did was to merely peel apart the nice packaging people so often tend to wrap around something called the truth. And then proceed to slap it right in your face. Lol.
It's not that I am not skilled in the art of speaking tactfully. I am quite well versed in that, but more often that not I do not choose to speak to rude people or people who make mindless remarks in such a way. These people will not get it if you speak tactfully.
Anyway, speaking honestly with a hint of sarcasm minimizes the chances of misunderstanding what I want to get across. It's the simplest form of my opinion, hence, it should be easy to comprehend. It's like having sex with a really ugly person when you're very horny. How difficult can it get.
So, no. I'm not sorry for the things I've said.
Being a senior does not mean I have to give and and take your crap. Being a senior means that you should have the decency to know when to exercise your mouth together with the brain. And, in whichever situation where you fail to have the two work together simultaneously, should at least have the minimal intelligence left to stfu.
IMO, things that people are so often offended about, are things that are the truth in which they refuse to accept.
E.g.
Is it not true that you do not work and feed off your wife?
Is it not true that you are fat?
Is it not true that you are stupid?
Those are the truths, but people tend to get all trippin' and flippin' over it. You feed off your wife, but that does not mean you are not a good father or husband. You are fat, but that does not mean you do not have a pure heart and a kind character. You are stupid, but that does not mean you do not have other talents.
Hence, what is so offending about the truths? I don't get it.
