Change is constant, no doubt.
But is change always good?
If change is uncalled for, is it worth the risk to jump into something totally new and start feeling our way through the hazardous darkness filled with uncertainty and insecurity?
Surely, a more balanced situation would definitely be a better option for many. But balanced is not equivalent to removing some of the most intelligent and significant figures that are holding us together.
Nothing is perfect. But in comparison to those geographically close to us, I say that we are damn well near perfection.
In the midst of debating and contemplation, anger and complaints, passion and ardour, why don't we step back and take a look around us. Be grateful for the education we have. Be grateful for the roof over our heads. The affordable health care system. The low unemployment rate.
If change is uncalled for in a certain area of our lives, would you be willing to venture into the unbeknownst territory of "change"?
