Yum Cha

Woke up early on a saturday (7am say whaaat!) to go yum cha at chinatown. Do not belittle those seemingly small portions of 3 piece dim sum per plate. MAD FULL WHEN I LEFT THERE OK.

Am thinking of going back there this coming saturday cause
1) Xiao long bao
2) Prawn and mango fritter
3) Custard dumpling
4) Egg tarts

Walau I feel damn hungry now just thinking about it!!! Damn it.

Since we started yum cha at 9ish..we were pretty much done by 1030am. Decided to jalan jalan but once again...1030am in the morning on a saturday at chinatown. Want to jalan also got nothing much to jalan.

T suggested to go some URA Centre museum cause he feels that I am very artistic and 很有艺术家的气质。Okay no. I was joking lah haha we were just damn bored.

If anyone has been to the museum before (it's beside Maxwell), you'll know that it is filled with miniature structures of various architectural designs from around the world. They even have this big ass map of Singapore in the same pattern! Like you can literally find your hdb flat lor! (I found tpjc cause the structure very ugly so easy to spot)

Case in point,

Quite cool right!

Okay funny incident of how I gl a museum person(?) early in the morning. This is a typical example of jiak pah boh tai ji zoh.

Since there were mannny miniature structures around, and they were not encased in glass boxes...my hands got a little too friendly with the displays. There was this one building from Wales, and the display was damn meticulously done please there were like mini tables and chairs with people sitting on it and stuff.

My hands befriended one lone table which was placed slightly askew from other tables (I suspect some other 18 year old did this). I took the table out from the building and placed it on some random surface, and asked T.

"You want to buy table?"

HAHAHA very childish I know but I cannot help it!! Quite fun what. So the museum person saw me doing this and she was like "Excuse me please do not touch the display" while walking towards me.

I took the table out from the building so obviously I had to put it back right (and aligned it properly cause I am very considerate lol)! So to the museum person it seemed that I was still touching the display even though she told me not to.

She was quite pissed off so she said rather curtly "Please do not touch the display. If you spoil anything we'll have to take down your particulars."

I was being gl so I replied her in a pseudo sympathetic voice "Huh really ah..wha like this then very troublesome hor *nods wisely*. Anyway where's this wales place ah?" She was super dulan already so she just replied "Somewhere in the UK lah"

HAHAHAHAHA.

Ok so if you ever go to the URA museum, do not attempt to sell miniature tables to your friends or help them aligned their miniature furniture.

Gonna end abruptly cause I don't know what else to say.
