I cannot stand politics.

Office politics, school politics, friendship politics...It's tiring just thinking about it.

The countless attempts to undermine someone, the incessant complaining/bitching sessions in which the content seems to always revolve around the same topic, the over-sensitivity that warps one's mindset to think that every action is a malicious act...

Don't you feel exhausted just imagining the energy put into accomplishing these "feats" (if you would call it)?

It is sad to realise that the dark abyss of politics and constant competition stems from something so...innocent. A new work environment. A new colleague. A new friend. And as we grow to be comfortable in that new situation, somehow the scale of politics seem to morph into a monstrosity that eats us inside out. Pitting everyone against each other. Everyone is trying to prove their worth, trying to outshine their counterparts.

This spans across all social circles, across ages, and the list goes on.

Few can survive unscathed and even fewer can remain an outsider. Even if you are not a willing participant, somehow or another the situation seems to suck every surrounding individual into it. Some feel obliged to go along with it cause their friends are involved, some feel that they should be involved for fear of being left out, and some are just in it unknowingly.

Distressing.

No wonder world peace is such an...utopia. It's a social perfection that is idealistic.

This is a pointless post about my rants.

On a totally unrelated and random note, I think that the click clack sound of high heels is quite irritating.
