I have had abysmal memory since...forever. I cannot remember names/numbers well (until now I can only rmbr pei and wei's one cause they have like repetitive numerical sequences which are very easy to memorize), I cannot remember directions, I cannot remember where I placed something 3 seconds ago, I cannot remember what I need to do/buy.
In secondary school, I'd alwaaaays place my wallet on the table/chair/whatever and walk off. And I'd completely forget that I left my wallet behind. Wei got so irritated by this habit that she'd hide my wallet and then when I finally realise it has gone missing (like when I wna buy smth) and panic, then she'll return it to me. After lecturing me. Haha.
This year, (I think) that my memory has dipped even further leh. Which is just sad cause it's not very good to begin with.
Example #1.
I specifically tell myself last night to bring a new box of tissue to work. I reminded myself again last night. Again, when I woke up. When I was blow drying my hair. When I was tying my hair. When I was eating breakfast.
I realise I forgot to take a new box of tissue when I was on the bus to work.
Example #2.
I told myself umpteen times when I was eating breakfast, to bring some lined paper to work. I got kinda sian drawing lines on plain A4 paper already.
I realise I have no lined paper just 15 minutes ago.
Example #3.
My missing bank book is still nowhere to be found. How do you lose a bankbook anyway!!! And it was like my 4th time bringing it out to update lor. Mad sian.
Seriously. What will happen when I am 80. Ok maybe 75 lah very difficult to have long life with the persistant sweltering weather, lol. How to have better memoryyyyyyyyyyy.
